Went on a hike at Mt Tremblant National Park. We started the trail by crossing this beautiful river where people enjoyed canoeing. Gorgeous weather, tons of mosquitos.

We were walking in the woods, in the fall, the colors were beautiful.

We were on our way to the Chute-à-Bull, the colors were beautiful at that time of the year. Some trees were already red. This is a glimpse of what a Canadian fall looks like.

This is the last pic I took on the day we went to Parc Omega near Montreal and it turned out to be the best. Glad I got my camera out at the very last moment.

It gets so dark in the forest sometimes even when it's board daylight. Have you ever lost your way in the forest and ended staying there during the night?

We escaped to a hidden A-frame chalet in the northern lakes of Quebec. The rain fell, and everything was glistening.

Submission for the Timberland x Unsplash Collaboration. Shot in Montréal on March 15th with Corina R.K. on a Canon EOS 6D. The theme of the collab is “Celebrating the Icons” and we chose to celebrate the natural beauty of a city under the last winter snow. I believe that photography is about capturing the beauty of the world as it is. Thus, all my pictures are not cropped, not photoshopped, not modified, not reverted or rotated, and not digitally altered.

- Part of a 30 days streak of Unsplash uploads - As a friend was paying me a visit from Europe, we took a break in La Fontaine park in Montréal. As every park in the city, it’s filled with squirrels. Which are a blessing or a plague depending on your perspective. This one was more curious than its fellow rodents. Something seemed special about him. He seemed to have smart eyes. This shot is almost straight out of camera. One of those times where you can yell “nailed it” when chipping at the screen.

It was 11pm, we decided to climb the Mont-Royal park on unlit paths, the view at the end was just wonderful.

Every year Montreal host L’International des Feux Loto‑Québec, it’s an international fireworks competition in which major companies, representing their respective country, provide the opportunity to see the latest techniques and innovations in the field of pyrotechnics. knowing that that day was China with The Butterfly Lovers as a theme. So I took my bike and rode up to the Chalet was a painful hill for those who know the city. Once there I wasn’t expecting that many people but the view is always worth a while, hopefully I arrived 2 hours earlier which got me to chose the perfect spot.

- Part of a 30 days streak of Unsplash uploads - Another blast from the past. Took this landscape on top of Mont Royal park as the sun was setting down on the city. Montreal is pretty unique in terms of the vibes she breathes. Not only speaking about old meeting new, city meeting river and mountain,… but also how the Sun always seem to put her in a glorious perspective. We moved to Montreal in February of 2017. Compared to all the other cities I’ve lived in, Montreal is the largest and most diverse. The winters are harsh, but the way of life and the people make this city unlike any other. I love taking nighttime cityscape photos of cities I’ve lived in and cities I visit. This glowing city abuzz with people, events, and opportunities has captured my heart.
